I'll be reading the Alpha mini because Fialkov is writing it. More importantly, Spider-Men paperback! I MUST HAVE THIS.

  2. Scarletspiderfan

I'm hoping they do something cool with Toxin.... assuming he's still Brock (and the very red Venom looking suit would make me think so) I fear the character is becoming nothing more than a way for them to have 90s Venom back again without actually having to reunite Brock and the suit. While it makes me nostalgic a bit I liked the new direction they were going with Brock and I'll be disappointed if he becomes nothing more than his simple, snarling old self.

Some interesting plotlines seem to be coming. Looking forward to seeing Cardiac again, his sporadic appearances in the 90s are when I first started getting into comics. Also, it seems like the Superior Spider-Man will indeed be having ramifications on the Scarlet Spider's storylines. Hoping we get an actual crossover between these two because I'd like to see Kaine's reaction to Pete losing his body. And are we getting Spidey 2009 or that 2200 one? Hopefully the former, though with the 3 different versions of 2099 I hope its the original.

@#1: Alpha is Dan Slott's personal Mary Sue. We knew going in that he wasn't going to give up just because nobody liked Alpha the first time around. But yeah, I look for Alpha readers to reject Alpha....big time.

  5. Andrew

I don't understand what fanbase that Alpha mini is supposed to appeal to. Was there actually any demand for it? That thing's gonna sell about 20 copies (and half of those will be people who confuse it with an Alpha Flight relaunch).
