1. The upper right panel says Peter is a college student. He’s married to a super model in college? What kind of crackpot fantasy land does Stan Lee’s ghost writer live in?
2. Spider-Man was hurt so bad by a flying bag of paper that he can’t stand up. BULLSHIT.
3. Oh ha ha ha. Like “rest in peace” only “rest in pieces!” Very original.
4. Wolverine has blue hair.
5. For a minute there I thought Wolverine was threatening to grab Doc Ock’s scrotum.
6. Apparently the next strip will involve cheerleaders of some sort.
Those top banners are still just recycled from back when John Romita was on the strip back in the late 70s. Notice the empty space beneath Stan’s name up there. ^^
It’s the same as having ooldes of classic characters in the top frame, but only Peter, MJ, Jonah, Robbie, and the occasional old enemy still appear in the dailes. Flash, Betty, Harry, May etc havent been seen for YEARS. Even Stan and Roy are bored with ‘em. Take notes Marvel.
HERE HE COMES, HERE COMES WOLVERINE
HE’S A DEMON WITH CLAWS
HE’S A DEMON AND HE’S GONNA BE GRABBING SOMEONE’S TENTACLES!
GO WOLVERINE, GO WOLVERINE, GO WOLVERINE GOOOOOO
Aunt may was in a buncha strips last month. as for flash, betty, harry… a lot of those characters change so much in the comics, it’s probably not wise for stan to try continue using them.
I love these strips. They’re refreshingly freat. simple, fun, and neat.
And I want a collected book of these put out. Not that old one that sells for around $100 online.
Oh and @ CrazyChris’s #2, I guess you can assume the bag was full, and Ock spun it around a few times before releasing. This would totally knock somebody over, and to the head would actually give you a concussion. Without Spider stamina, if he wasn’t braced for it to hit him it could have knocked him out.
Iron Lantern, he was braced for it. He took the brunt of it intentionally. Regardless, though, it’s still a bag of PAPER. Hasn’t Spider-Man been hit in the head with bricks and steel pipes?

Finally Ock is talking the way he should. He sounded like the Joker all week.

“Who grabbed my tentacle?” The unintentional humor is totally the best part.
