Ock acts like he never heard of adamantium before. During the nineties he actually fashioned adamantium arms as a power up. Can’t quite remember how he lost them. It was one of the Sinister Six stories by Larson.
At least in Stan’s universe, adamantium is still rare, unlike the mainstream comic world,
where it is stocked on supermarket shelves next to the green kryptonite and the
Dr. Spectrum black light special.

@Mark: Yes! Adamantium was supposed to be super-rare, but now there’s so much of it they could start manufacturing cars out of that stuff.
