According this article by the NY Times, Disney will be buying Marvel Comics. More details will be posted as they emerge. For those who don’t know, Warner Brothers has owned DC Comics for some time now. Michael Bailey need not be embarassed about singing on the podcast. Peter Parker does it far more embarassingly…and far more naked as Randy and Glory find out on the next page. Paul Jenkins had a habit of having people walk in on Peter naked in his apartment. Caryn did it later in his run.

The results: Well look at Liz’s face and see for yourself. In all fairness to Peter, we did find out he was right in 2007.

REVIEW DOUBLE FEATURE!
After losing the first draft in a computer glitch weeks ago, I considered skipping Uncanny X-Men #514 and resuming my coverage of Marvel’s crossover with Dark Avengers #8. However, since understanding Dark Avengers requires having read X-Men, and since I know some of you only follow this plot through the reviews, I went ahead and combined both reviews into one mega-post. Uncanny X-Men #514
“Utopia” Part 4

PLOT:
Cyclops gathers a team of agents selected solely on the basis of their Dodson-drawn bust sizes, assigning them each critical missions. Mindee of the Stepford Cuckoos needs to get arrested. Mirage meets someone mysterious in Las Vegas. Domino gathers X-Force and Magik for a rendezvous with Wolverine. Psylocke has to do something in a halfway zipped-up wetsuit.

Some didn’t like "Secret Wars II" or the way it disrupted all the Marvel titles. Although it was excessive, if it wasn’t for the series we never would’ve been able to see Peter Parker toilet train the Beyonder. One of the odder moments of his life.
