Sandman flipping burgers with his sand-hand would not only cover the burgers in–you know–SAND, but it’s also unsanitary. That restaurant’s getting sued VERY soon. Or at least getting a visit from Dateline.
@hornacek: Sandman’s head can transform between rock and sand anytime, like the rest of his body. I’m also pretty sure that the last time Spidey fought the Vulture in the strip, it was Blackie. However, you got him with the Electro thing — that was in his wacky dream. Oops!
Yeah, apparently in the strip’s universe the Green Goblin, Venom, Doc Ock, and Kraven are not dead (I mentioned those because according to Stan the movies *kinda* happened, but not exactly like they did). Hey, I don’t care. That’s fine by me (killing the villains was pretty stupid anyway).
Maybe Electro is the reverse of OMD/BND? You know, everything in the wacky dream STILL happened, but with him married to MJ? Which, of course, leaves a bunch of plot holes to fill (Ha!).

The Doc Ock straight jacket looks cool!! They seem to have the colors in check this time except for Rhinos face.

Sandman’s man is solid rock, not sand.
The Vulture’s headpiece goes back to Blackie Gaxton (sp?).
Didn’t the recent Electro storyline take place in Peter’s dream when Stan reverted to the marriage timeline?

So Kraven isn’t dead in the strip? And has Venom ever appeared in the strip?
