An issue of Amazing Fantasy #15 made a cameo appearance in an old episode of Naked City.

The website Comic Coverage spotted the cameo. The TV show starred Burgess Meredith who was also the Penguin in the 1960s Batman show. The first appearance of Thor was also on the same newsstand. If only you I had a time machine.

Spectacular Spider-Man voice actor Josh Keaton is going to help me get the 1980s Spider Friends reunited on a future podcast. I have gotten the ok from Firestar/Kathy Garver but have not heard back from Dan Gilvezan/Spider-Man and Frank Welker/ Iceman.  Josh is voicing Bumblebee in the upcoming Transformers cartoon. Frank is voicing Megatron again.

Here’s what Josh told me in a recent chat.

“I can probably get in touch with Dan. Frank I don’t have a contact for so I won’t be able to ask him until we record more TF.”

Our girl Stella is celebrating 24 years of bringing smiles and witty banter to friends, family and podcast listeners. She recently had a Crawlspace reunion with our buddy Will ,on the left, from the Avengers Assemble podcast and Gerard ,on the right, our Amazing Spider-Man reviewer. They were showing their Crawlspace support.

Actor Chris Zylka announced on his Twitter account that he’s been cast as Flash Thompson in the Spider-Man reboot film. Comic Book Movie.com is also reporting the news.
I think the kid needs to learn how to spell Spider-Man before he gets role, but that’s just me.

Stuart Allan is a young actor that is auditioning for the role of Billy Connors in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot film. The Hollywood Reporter found the tape and posted it. After seeing this I’m never having my kid go into acting. I wonder if the kid gets eaten at the end of the film?
