The L.A. Times has an interesting article interviewing actor Dennis Leary. He will be playing Captain George Stacy in the new “Amazing Spider-Man” movie. Leary reveals he never read any Spider-Man comics as a kid and is more of a fan of Batman. However a friend years ago said he should play Captain Stacy is they they ever put the character in a movie. That friend should buy a lottery ticket because he sure can predict the future. Click on the link to read the article.
If you’ll notice I’ve taken the Spidey Daily posts off of the front page. I got a call this week from King Features who synidcates the newspaper strip. They asked me to take them all down. They only want a 30 day archive of the strip on the internet. So I also have to take down the archive of the strip. That will take a very long time and I’ve taken all of 2012 down. I’ve been posting it for the last three or four years.
They also said they will now charge me to post the strip. They quoted me a price of $120 a month to put the strip on the front page everyday. That works out to $1440 a year or around $3 a day for the strip. That is way too steep for this working father to fork over. Would you be willing to help pay for the costs? If I started a fundraiser would you help pay the bill?
So here’s my solution. I can post a link to the Tulsa World website that posts the strip each and every day. So just click on this image and it will take you there. My goal is to have the best Spider-Man website on the net with daily content. The daily Spider-Man strip was a big part of having Spidey content on slow news days. Feel free to discuss the change in the comment section or on this thread on the message board.
Michael Morbius was teased to be the mysterious “Number 6″ at Horizon Labs back in Spider Island, and that tease is being delivered on now with the character’s triumphant return. I say triumphant because the last time we saw Morbius was a disappointment at best, and this appearance handles him much better. It makes for a solid issue that will hopefully lead into more solid issues in the future.
Hey Two-Bit! This review is a waste of time and space! Well, thank you very much in advance, dearest readers. Yes, I’m aware that Spider-Man is no longer in the line-up, but his greatest arch-enemy, Norman Osborn, is still in the book… or at least he’s supposed to be. Let’s keep this short.

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, and what a lovely Sunday Wednesday morning it is folks. Gather round around as Pastor Carnage preaches the good word of the one who will make us whole, the word of the Symbiote. Let the anger consume you, let it crawl right over your flesh, become one with it. Because where we’re going, there be no hope. There be no love. There is only darkness…. Only Sacrifice.
Over the last few months, we gotten a steady stream of images, previews, and interviews. While one would have thought that Sony would have paid the 6 million dollars to have the trailer seen in front of the biggest sporting event of the year, which was the most watched event in world history…. but I’ll digress. BEHOLD….! LO, HERE BE A TRAILER!
Ruh-Roh. I’m breaking the Cable Guy theme I was using for these reviews to use a Scooby-Doo reference. It’s just that the name “Rulk” sounds like something Scooby would say. And I use that name plenty in this review as Red Hulk comes to the rescue of Captain America, Iron Man and Falcon. But who will come to Cable’s rescue? Who cares about any of that though? We get appearances by Spider-Man and the leader of mutant-kind himself. No, not Wolverine. Cable’s daddy, Cyclops. Read on as things begin to pick up for the upcoming Avengers vs. X-Men event.
Avengers: X-Sanction #3
“Noon”
Writer: Jeph Loeb
Penciler: Ed McGuinness Inker: Dexter Vines Colorist: Morry Hollowell Letterer: Comiccraft’s A. Deschesne Cover Art: McGuinness, Vines & Hollowell

Plot: Red Hulk has Cable pinned down at gunpoint in the freighter where the Avengers are being held captive. The mutant’s Techno-Organic Virus is raging out of control in his body. Cable is rescued by his companion Blaquesmith, who attacks Rulk with a modified bo-staff. Blaquesmith dances away from Rulk’s attacks long enough to allow Cable a chance to recover. Cable shoots his opponent with a large gun which sends Rulk flying out of the freighter.
Time is running out for both Spidey and the rest of New York! Can he figure out how to stop the doomsday future before the clock strikes 3:10? Or will he need a little help from his friends?

I just got a nice e-mail from a fellow Spider-Fan named Josh Bryant. He had a Spider-Man themed wedding and even had Dr. Strange perform the ceremony. Here’s his e-mail and a gallery of pictures.
“Thought you guys might be interested in some shots from my Spider-Man themed wedding held in December. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Strange, and we had a number of costumes show up. Love the site, keep up the good work!”
