Crawl Space 4 cover For those of you that haven’t heard, this website has an original, ongoing, fan made webseries starring our favorite webslinger in brand new adventures set firmly within the original continuity. No history has been washed away, but Spider-Man is once again married to his beautiful and loving wife, Mary Jane Parker.

Spider-Man: Crawl Space #4 is the second part of our first full arc, “Spider-Man: Black.” Last issue, The Faceless Man’s employer was revealed as a mysterious man in a black Spider-Man costume calling himself The Black Spider. He tasked The Faceless Man with carrying out the next stage of his plan: blowing up The Daily Bugle!

This issue finds our favorite staffers at the Bugle held hostage by The Faceless Man, who is at his wits end without the knowledge of who he is. Over in Paris, Harry Osborn is trying to track down his half-brother, and by the end of this issue he may do just that. And as our webslinger is about to come face to face with The Black Spider, he must first overcome the terrifying menace of – ! Well, you’ll see. You’re already clicking on the link, aren’t you?

In this third monthly installment we finally meet the man who hired Killshot to assassinate Aunt May back in issue 1 (he’s the guy pictured in that wonderfully creepy cover by Ted Brandt and Brandon DP to the left). We also get a chance to meet his employer, who will be a major player soon. This is part 1 of Spider-Man: Crawl Space’s first full arc, entitled “Spider-Man Black.” You’ll see why once you read the issue. We also witness Norman Osborn’s final plan for Peter Parker following his death in issue 2. And if that wasn’t enough, can you say double date?

It’s a jam packed 22 pages that is only the smallest taste of what’s to come in this 6 part arc. It’s a story I’ve had kicking around in my head for years now, and I’m very excited to finally let it out for your edification. Crawl Space 2 cover The second issue of the fan made webseries titled after this very site and set in a continuity continuing from Brand New Day but restoring Spider-Man’s marriage is now available for your reading pleasure!

In this oversized second issue, you will witness several milestones in the history of Spider-Man. First, the funeral of Aunt May (for good this time). Then, the renewing of Peter and Mary Jane’s vows (for good this time). And after a wedding reception that sees the return of several familiar faces, witness the first confrontation between Norman and Harry Osborn with both their memories intact in 30 years!

It’s a big blowout folks, and not to be missed by any Spidey Fan.

Crawl Space 1 cover This website now has a unique, fan made Spider-Man monthly in comic script form. Issue #1 clocks in at a whopping 52 pages, and sports a cover (to the left) and an interior panel drawn by Ted Brandt with colors by Brandon DP, our very own poster ‘bdog.’
In this giant sized first issue, you’ll witness Peter Parker and Mary Jane’s quest to reverse their deal with Mephisto. You’ll meet a new force to be reckoned with – the Death Rider. And when you read the last pages, you’ll know that things are not about to get easier for our wall crawler.

IGN.com has posted a report on the Spectacular Spider-Man panel at San Diego ComicCon, complete with some new info from producer Greg Weisman and a full description of some new footage shown.

“As for the future of the show, supervising producer Greg Weisman said Hobgoblin would debut in Season 3, noting that officially, ‘We don’t have a pick up for Season 3, but we have a plan.’ He said Season 2 world feature Mysterio and Kraven, along with several other new and returning villains, including Venom, Vulture, Doc Ock, The Master Planner, The Sinister Six, Molten Man. Weisman said that many characters, including even Flash Thompson and Coach Smith, ‘get more depth in Season 2,’ and that there would be story arcs for Gwen, Mary Jane and Jonah.’
