Indeed. He’s the one who created the Friday Night Fights, along with the Delta House(in that case, co created). He’s been reviewing the BND era of Spider-Man. He also reviewed HULK VS., GI JOE, and Spider-Man Secret Wars. He also did the best protest of BND ever. He’s quite simply, the man. Spider-Man The Movie Game

The Good
At first glance Spider-Man The Movie looks & plays just like it’s critically acclaimed predecessor. The swinging feels great, you have a variety of combos, and web techniques and can unlock new techniques throughout the game. Also the details in the game are very nicely represented. Another plus is that the game’s cutscenes look fantastic! Spidey’s character is represented very nicely throughout the game, and he even has a variety of quips something which was actually absent from the first movie. There are a series of indoor and outdoor levels. The outdoor levels are so much more fun then the indoor levels, and Activision fixed that in later games. Also the voice acting is very good considering it’s a movie game. Another good thing about this game would have to be it’s easter eggs, there are a variety of costumes to unlock (including the Alex Ross movie costume) and you can even play as the Green Goblin (who has super speed!) This game also contained a stealth element which had potential, but wasn’t well received by fans. Even Stan-Lee narrates certain parts of the game! They arm Spidey with a very creative arsenal of web based attacks, and even clever hand-to-hand combat techniques. He is also armed with the fan favourite “Spidey Compas”. The graphics in this game are amazing for a Playstation 1 game. The game is based on the critically acclaimed Tony Hawk Pro Skater engine, and it really shows. (more…) We recently discussed Josh, an obscure “Amazing Spider-Man” character who Greg Weisman revived in his Flash Thompson backup story from “Amazing Spider-Man” issue 622. As I said then, Josh wasn’t the only obscure character brought back. I thought it would be fun to take a look at the rest of them. You can see Flash saying hello to Jason and Tiny in the above picture. I was originally going to spotlight Jason and Tiny together but while preparing the slideshow, I decided Jason had so much story that he deserved his own spotlight. Who is this Jason?
