Thursday is Swarm Day!

SwarmDay“The Nazi skeleton made of bees…”

I am proclaiming that Thursday is Swarm Day here at the Spider-Man Crawlspace. Why? Because I said. Late Wednesday night Brad, Kevin and I spent some time – a lot of it – talking about Swarm. I think I may have made some Swarm converts. In fact Brad Douglas may now even love Swarm the way I love Stegron.

We also talked about Swarm’s various appearances in Spider-Media, marveling about the villain’s star power.

You ask – “George, why love Swarm?”
I answer – “Why not love Swarm, sir?”

So today we will revel in all things Swarm. We will get Swarmy. Embrace the Swarm. Become one with the Hive. When you pass random strangers on the street, buzz lovingly just as you would a queen bee. Why is any of this important? Well that’d be giving it away. Heh.

On a side note about Kevin's Venom picture above. Apparently the Nazi skeleton "got better." 8)

In honor of the day, we can't talk about bees without mentioning Nicolas Cage.

And as I shared with our Facebook fans: Just announced by no one on the fake internet: In honor of International Swarm Day, Nicki Minaj will rerecord her hit song "Beez in the Trap" as "Bees in a Cape!" Sources say this version may even be mildly listenable!

"Did you say 'bees'?" "GOB's not on board." (hopefully there are some Arrested Development fans on here)
