‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Spot Set For Super Bowl Sunday

“Spidey Swings Into The Super Bowl!”

Super Bowl XLVIII featuring the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks is headed our way on Sunday, February 2nd. So what upcoming movie releases this year will get a Superbowl spot? Variety has a rundown.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 will have a Super Bowl spot of some kind, though there’s no word yet on what might be in it or how long it is. Captain America: Winter Soldier will also get a spot, but Marvel won’t be hyping Guardians of the Galaxy and Fox won’t be throwing in a spot for X-Men: Days of Future Past.

There will also be a spot to promote the fourth Transformers movie but the upcoming Godzilla movie and the next installment of Planet of the Apes movies (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) will not be promoted.

And yes, Brad Douglas – there will be a Super Bowl spot for the new Muppets movie, Muppets Most Wanted.
