We kick off July with the return of John Romita Jr. on Amazing Spider-Man #7/971. As Hellgate finally does battle with Spider-Man. The issue does well with Peter’s character and artwork, but despite a cool concept. Hellgate should be facing: Thor, Hercules, Namor or Captain America. Also, despite Joe Kelly saying that Black Cat is who he likes to write, she basically doesn’t do anything this issue but try to impersonate GI Jane.
