I know it’s a comicbook and not animation but I don’t remember ever seeing the Beetle’s wings flap, or indications that they did flap with motion lines. Seems like very bulky wings if they are intended to flap to keep one in the air.
Yeah, I think the wings did flap.
As for the strip; heh, I still find it amusing that Human Torch’s girlfriend back then was a girl with Evans for a surname, and then Captain America was the Torch circa 2005-2007.
How exactly did the Beetle fly with this original suit? Did those giant wings actually flap?
