Do you think that the Bagley Ultimate Spider-man cover is simply meant as a homage to the original series? I know that this is supposed to be an entirely new continuity altogether, but I’d like to think that if we had gotten to see the Peter and Mary Jane from that series grow up, they’d look like the characters in this new series.
I still don’t recall if it was ever explained how Peter returned from the dead after that fight with the Green Goblin.
