I can see why this kid got passed over. I wasn’t that impressed. What do you think?

I really liked it!
Not sure if he would have been a good fit for Spidey though
I agree that the scene reminded me of the Raimi films (really hoping the girl in the script was Liz though)
he was playing tobey maguire in that scene, not peter parker. i want to see something different and worth rebooting for. (not just plot and content, but the feel)
petey made stupid faces the whole time. ecpsecially when he started kicking ass
This kid looked awful. He couldn’t act his out of a paper bag.
I could do without the music
That wasn’t bad for what it was.
I thought that was great. Is that the same guy from Bridge to Terabithia? If so, wow has he ever grown up.
This actually was a bit better than Tobey Maguire’s audition, that was more “grimdark superhero” than Spidey. If only Josh changed his facial expression one in a while…
Not terrible, the kid wasn’t half bad, but methinks a bit too Matrix in terms of the way Spidey should fight on film.
Ok acting, the wiring was pretty good and all but it just seemed off.
I think it was pretty cool, just wish he was in some kind of costume. But then you wouldn’t be able to see his face, so that may not work. Perhaps if the mask were ripped or something. Anyway, I still think it’s pretty cool! It was impressive to see such determination in acquiring a role that he’d create his own video. You know he called in some favors for this.
I rather enjoyed it. I kinda wish he DID get the role, he has the looks, and the moves of pete parker
I think the video was very impressive, both in acting and effects, but I’m sorry…I just didn’t see him as Peter Parker.
I didn’t think it was half bad.
Having thought about it, though, I might have just been mesmerized by the impressive wire work..
Could be worse
