Today was a big day of reveals from Hasbro if you’re a Spider-Man fan!
First, Hasbro will be completing the main Future Foundation team with two 2-packs. The set featuring Spider-Man and Reed Richards will go up for pre-order on this Wednesday, May 20th, on sites like Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, and other Fan Channel sites. The Sue and Ben set will go up for pre-order at the same time a week later at the same time.

Finally, what I feel is the biggest news, is that Hasbro will be releasing a San Diego Comic Con box set based on the beloved 1967 Spider-Man cartoon! Fans who aren’t able to attend SDCC will be able to grab this set on Hasbro Pulse at a later date (in sufficient quantities, I hope).

I couldn’t be more excited for the Spider-Man 1967 set! I love that they gave him an accurate head and accurate paint job, right down to the 6 legs on the spider symbol on his chest. I really wish this has been a 2-pack of just Spider-Man so I could easily achieve the meme pointing scene with Spidey vs the Actor, but hey, Electro and Lizard look really well done, so I can’t complain much. That said, if they were insisting on making this 3-pack, I wish they had made it a “4-pack” with an empty spot in the box tray for Dr. Noah Body. It wouldn’t have cost much to include that little joke, I wouldn’t think.
But what do you guys think? Will you be picking up these sets? I’ll definitely be building a Future Foundation team, and I’m hopefully going to be able to score 2 of the SDCC Spider-Man sets so I can have Spidey face off with Charles Cameo, the Actor. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below!

I really want that 3-pack spider-man 1967 marvel legends set.
