Peter left his microscope at Uncle Ben’s grave in “Amazing Spider-Man” issue 181. This caused some continuity problems when issue 290 came out years later.

I remember this one. Yeah this is a major plothole. but hey maybe Peter had a spare microscope that he felt a STRONG, ENDEARING connection to his Uncle Ben. there! plothole solved.
