@hornacek: I’m not sure, but I was thinking something similar when I posted this. It sounds familiar.
Wasn’t it eventually revealed that these early instances of “bad luck” was her setting things up before? Like she set up those shelves earlier so that they’d fall when she would pull a string or press a button?
