I got a nice e-mail this week from filmmaker Roger King. He’s producing a seven part Spider-Man movie titled “Peter’s Web.” He has been working on the project for the past year and a half and has really gone all out. The preview pictures are amazing!
A website will be set up to view the free movie. If you would like to sign up to get an e-mail when the movie premieres, just e-mail Roger. A new film will premiere once a month for seven months.
Some of the characters included in the movie are the Hobgoblin, Chameleon, Eddie Brock, Mary Jane, Gwen Stacy, Norman Osborn, Reed Richards, Bruce Banner, Mysterio, Kraven, The Lizard, Curt Conners, Vermin, and more!!
Roger says the films are almost done filming, and he’s soon going to begin the editing process.
The project looks great and I’m really looking forward to it. And great casting on Black Cat!

hey everyone, just an update here on the peters web series. well, i found a suitable actress to play mary jane and have been shooting all her scenes these past couple of weeks. she was the major character ive had the most trouble casting since im trying to find people that fit my vision of what these people would really look and sound like in person. the scenes are going great and shooting with her should be finished within the second week of december. after that i still have some green screen shots and fillers to take care of then i really will dive full force into the editing process. ill keep updating here with news and such untill i get the actual website for the series up and running.
As a participant working with Roger I can attest to his commitment and passion to make a quality video, I cannot wait to see the finished product!
Looks pretty cool. There aren’t that many good Spidey fan films, I suspect, just because it’s hard to do without risking your life–all that swinging high above the city, etc. “Green Goblin,” mentioned above, was a good one made in the early 90s, and the story behind the making of it is even better than the flick itself. It’s actually part of a book I wrote about the history and future of fan films, Homemade Hollywood, which is coming out at the end of November in bookstores everywhere. Other folks have made Spidey flicks–Tommy Ramone of the Ramones helped made one in 1973 that was actually supported by Marvel and Stan the Man himself. In fact, they even wrote it up in an early issue of FOOM (and yeah, that story is in the book too).
