Happy Birthday Ron Frenz

Join us in wishing one of the greatest Spider-Man artist of all time a big happy birthday. Ron has been working on Spider-Man since the 1980s and always brings his “A” game. Here are just a few of his highlights.

*Penciled Amazing Spider-Man #248 which featured “The Kid who collected Spider-Man” story.
*Penciled Amazing Spider-Man #252 the first appearance of the black costume
*Penciled Amazing Spider-Man #259 the origin of Mary Jane
*Penciled Amazing Spider-Man #265 the first appearance of Silver Sable
*Penciled Amazing Spider-Man #269 and #270 Spider-Man VS Firelord
*Penciled Spider-Girl’s first appearance in What If #105

Ron has been very kind to the Crawlspace over the years and been on several shows. He’s also an all around great guy. We’re trying to make the hashtag #HappyFrenzDay trend on social media. Feel free to share the tag and show your love of Mr. Frenz. Happy birthday buddy.

Brad created the Crawlspace back in 1998 while attending college at the University of Missouri-Columbia. He’s the webmaster and writes front page news items, and also produces, hosts and edits the podcast. He’s been collecting Spider-Man comics since the age of three and is a life-long fan of the webhead.
