From "Spectacular Spider-Man" issue 119. This moment has always stayed with me. Writers are always trying to make the Spider-Man books fun, and Peter David always knew how to pull it off.

From “The Parker Years” one-shot. Sometimes Peter just pities himself too much and blames everything and World War II on himself. Good thing this era had MJ to put things in perspective.

I’d rather have a book of these types of scenarios with Peter, instead of ol’ BND…
That MJ zinger makes the moment for me. 🙂
Awesome
Awesome.
I wish they’d put all the Spectacular Spideys on a cd Rom like they did with Amazing.
LOL
That was good
I have this issue 😀
Now that is funny.
I soooo loved this scene as a kid. Gotta love Peter David.
