From “Amazing Spider-Man” issue 296. Doctor Octopus still has a crippling fear of Spider-Man (which he got from this arc).

I found this while doing research for a future project. It’s from “Spectacular Spider-Man” issue 22 and the first panel may be one of the most offensive stereotypical things I’ve seen.

I’d say this is cool, but almost the same exact thing happened in an issue of Daredevil with Bullseye.
I also enjoyed the John Byrne Fantastic Four where they sought out Doc Ock to help Sue with complications delivering her baby. Reed picks Ock up in the Fantasticar, and Ock sees a spider and wigs out. Great use of the whole Marvel Universe.
I love how the New Yorkers see a guy walking around with metal arms and just continue about their daily business like it’s nothing.
Keep these up! I love these!
