Ok this just made my day. Actor Dan Gilvezan will be voicing Spider-Man 2099 in the new “Shattered Diminsions” video game. Gilvezan voiced Spider-Man in the classic 1980s “Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends.” He also voiced Bumblebee in the 1980s Transformers cartoon. Check out the video to hear this voice from Spidey’s past. I’m so stoked!

OK, I was kind of skeptical about this game before, but I am OFFICIALLY STOKED about this game now! Spidey 2099 was one of those rare Spidey spinoffs that was actually totally AWESOME! I bought (and still have) every issue, up to #46, including the annuals, and of course, the Spider-Man/Spider-Man 2099 crossover! In some ways, I liked Miguel even better than Peter…well, almost!
I’m sold!
No one thinks it’ll be 1602?
Was looking over the list of alternate Spidey’s (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternate_versions_of_Spider-Man)
Though I never read it, Spider-Man India might be kind of cool. Mangaverse, too.
@ Jesse Garrett.
Christopher Daniel Barnes from the early 90s animated series is voicing Spider-man Noir!
I hope Josh Keaton got cast as Amazing!
I love Rino but Keaton is more well rounded.
Can’t say either one would disappoint though!
Rino Romano would bring alot of nostalgia back from the classic PSX games.
That new footage of Spider-Man 2099 looks awesome! I guess the emphasis on his “dimension” will be aerial as well as hack n’ slash combat? Also, if that is, indeed Spider-Carnage or a symbiote possessed Spider-Man at the end, that seems like very appropriate to have as an end-boss.
HOLY…! I know it was confirmed that 2099 was in.. but dang that caught me by surprise. This is now a must buy.
And dudes, check this out! Aside from the AWESOME music and the fact you can see the circuitry in O’hara’s suit, look in the bottom left.

Heartburn, if you have a dvr and Toon Disney you can catch it around 3 in the morning or you can watch it on you tube. Is it suprising to say Spider-man 2099 sounds way different than “Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends” Spidey. and the fourth spider is either Zombie Spidey or Spider Carnage
Zombie spidey’s game play could revolve around hunting humans to replenish health or something along those lines.
@styleshift isn’t Rino voicing Noir?
I just preordered this game.
I will be severely disappointed with Activision and Dan Slott if it sucks. =(
The Spidey 2099 universe looks awesome.
Kinda sad Rino wasn’t cast for the role but Dan Gilvezan has quickly made it his own.
@ Jesse… Zombie Spidey would be a brilliant idea.
I hate to say that I’m not familiar with the voice actor of “Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends” (since I wasn’t around at the time)
We all knew Spidey 2099 was going to be another universe pick but damn, that is just awesome. Love his graphic design and I love seeing the look of his world (diving action? Too sick). Plus it is nice to see more of what we can expect, still loving what their doing with Spidey Noir.
Voice is amazing, Spidey 2099 ftw. And now that I see that last bit of the ending I’m hoping Spider-Carnage could be a part of this… we don’t see a lot of Carnage around here anymore. 🙁
Seriously if this game sucks i will feel terrible, i think the whole concept is brilliant and the bringing together of numerous ex voice actors in my opinon is just great.
But yeah Spider Carnage is just win, i really hope its not a Symbyiote World since we have all had that pinned as the 4th world, so i hope we do get suprised
you know it could be Zombie spider-man…….
dude I am pumped about this game! Spider-carnage would rock. Venom is too played out, and Carnage would be a nice change. On a side note, i love the casting, it’s awesome their bringing back the old voice actors……who could they cast for the last dimension? too bad it isn’t the unlimited universe………..lol
This is awesome. I’ve seen a ton of reruns of Spidey and his Amazing Friends, and he’s a great voice actor. 2099 looks amazing graphic wise, so this is now a must have for me.
That’s what I was thinking.
Why does the end give me the thought that the final Spider-Man will be Spider-Carnage?
