I’m convinced this guy is gonna give a great performance. ANYTHING would be better than Maguire- now lets cast an actress who is actually hot as MJ and I’m sold.
I think this guy will do just fine, I’m interested to hear more about the casting of other characters and script details, but I think he can pull it off.
Tobey’s voice was terrible. I hated it. I thought when he was doing Spider-Man’s wit he sounded like a clown. Even with a English accent this guy has Tobey beat.
Judging from these clips I’m getting a better vibe from him as an actor.
The haircut (and perhaps some serious tweezing on the eyebrows) is really all he needs looks wise but physically he does match up pretty well.
This guy doesn’t look like Peter Parker from the comics; Nicholas Hammond from the live-action 1970’s series looked exactly like Peter Parker from the 70’s comics drawn by John Romita, Sr. and Toby Maguire looks like an actual real-live Peter Parker. I’m sure the movie will be good because it’s Spider-Man, but not sure about the actor. I want to see how he would portray Pete and if he convinces me, then I’ll like the movie. If not though… I’ll only like it when I see Spidey in super-hero action and hopefully whoever plays Mary Jane Watson will be really beautiful and gorgeous.
Red Riding looks amazing.
I think he’ll do a fine job. He seems like a good enough actor
He’s smoking in that video. Quesada will freak. I approve.
