Thaty explains why the symbiote gameplay of the demo i played today at sdcc reminded of the Ultimate Spider-man game.
Wasn’t it confirmed that the last universe was going to be a world created by Dan Slott? Maybe that will be the LAST world you go to or something…
not to mention, web of shadows was based on playing as the symbiote.
While everything looks awesome, I am a little underwhelmed the last universe is ultimate…..all the secrecy for a universe that had its own game a few years ago?
@Nate – There probably wouldn’t have been enough visual difference or even moveset difference if Ultimate Spidey had kept his original costume. They’ll probably explain it in the game. We don’t have all the details out yet, so I bet we’ll find out sooner or later. Also, if Ultimately Carnage is involved somehow, then it would explain the symbiote’s presence (I think).

but I have one gripe
Why does ultimate spiderman have the venom suit? (it’s not a symbiote in the ultimate universe)
He barely ever wore it, twice actually, once when he put it on and he got rid of it after like a day and then again when it left eddie to get on him briefly and that barely lasted cause thor blew it off with lightning
doesnt make sense why he’d have it here
