The website Just Jared has snapped some pictures of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone on the set of the fourth Spider-Man movie. It seems the two are sharing a kiss as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacey.

Does anyone else think this guy looks like the Tenth Doctor? I half expect him to ask Gwen to come explore time and space with him.
Boy, this sure get’s me pumped for SONY’s spider-man, by SONY. Maybe In one movie he’ll fight Morbius and he’ll be played by Robert Patterson! And then spider-man will have sex with the black cat and we’ll get this nifty piece of dialouge from peter, “We do it with our masks on. It’s better that way.” 😀
That’s not gonna be the Spider-man we know. Marvel doesn’t give a damn.
As soon as the movie is out, we’ll see this version in the comics as well.
I ain’t got no change!!! Get a job you bum!!!!
What’s up with Peter Parker’s hair? Comb please!
Mr. Garfield DOES look a wee bit old, but he looks more like Peter Parker (to me, anyway) than Tobey Maguire ever did. The outfit does not bother me. I wonder if someone in the wardrobe and makeup department watched the Robert Downey Sherlock Holmes film–I getting that kind of “distracted genius” vibe. Or perhaps I’ve watched too many episodes of David Tennant’s Doctor Who. I hope Mr. Garfield does not have Maguire’s voice…
@Gerard Delatour II: I didn’t even think of that…ew.
Will reserve judgemnt..can’t tell much from this photo other than Emma Stone is fine:). Will wait and see.
Ok seriously guys. How about considering, is Andrew garfield a good actor? Beause hes a damn good actor (ie social network!!)! No, instead, lets just put his face on top of the comic version and see if they perfectly match… :/
lol “Gwen’s missing her headband” comments. Just in case they are not sarcasm, Gwen didn’t always wear it in the comics. 😉
I happen to like it and I find him attractive…like Peter is supposed to be (according to Stan Lee). Was there any specific and concrete info that this was to take place in highschool? I’m getting a very college vibe here. I saw Andrew interviewed on the View a couple months ago and he mentioned that he used to be a gymnast so I’m a tad excited for this. Anyhow, I’ll reserve judgement until this comes out. All I want is to be entertained and if this does the job then I’ll be happy. Though I’ll be really happy if they announce MJ in the line up somewhere (though I doubt this first movie). She just better be hot.
@reader
Maybe Peter doesn’t need them because he already has his powers when this scene occurred? I’m just assuming though I could be wrong. I get the feeling we may be introduced to a Peter that has already been bitten and reference to that would be shown in flashbacks. *shrugs*

He looks like neither 616 or Ultimate Peter. 🙁
Innnnnteresting…
Gwen’s missing her headband and Pete forgot his glasses.
@Kassady86: Have you SEEN an Ultimate Spider-Man cover in the last year? If anything, the enormous head/mask will fit right in with the current vision of the character. 😆
Emma is going to carry this movie, and possibly this series.
How the hell is he supposed to get his mask on with all that hair?
It looks good to me. I mean, if you go by this ONE picture, yeah, it looks horrible, but there are more that have me confident in this movie:

I can’t find any pictures to compare but is anyone else reminded of a Humberto Ramos drawing of Peter in that picture? The hair, the hip look. Not sure why I’m reminded…
The “Twilight” or slacker look wouldn’t bother me so much if he actually looked like a high school kid, but it’s all too apparent that he’s a grown man trying to look like a kid.
What no headband on Gwen?!? This movie’s going to suck! 😛
Its funny but I was really worried about Gwen coming into this, now I’m really worried about Peter, I don’t doubt Garfields got the acting chops to pull this off but he has to at least look the part
I see nothing wrong with it.
I like it
Okay, I know that what an actor looks like on film isn’t necessarily an indicator of how good or bad a film is going to be, and I admit I could be reading too much into this, but I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Andrew Garfield in these scenes bares a passing resemblance to Robert Pattinson. After all, the Twilight series is (sad to say) very popular, especially among teenage girls and the goth-emo set, as the books and films are romances with a darker overtone. It doesn’t seem like that big of a stretch that Sony, with this reboot film, is attempting to reach out to that particular demographic as well as the Spider-Man fans, if only for marketing purposes. So having Peter Parker look a little more like Edward Cullen may be just one aspect of this.
I can kind of see the Ultimate Peter in him… But not impressed…
“Hipster” is the word that came to my mind, too. I can buy that that’s Gwen but Peter looks like a 30-year-old at a Wilco concert.
He looks like a hobo.
What’s with the hipster look? The fingerless gloves, the jacket over the hoodie, the Twilight hair … I think I’m going to be sick …
