In the next few days you’ll see something I haven’t ever done with this site. I’m going to have two reviewers on one title. Gerard Delatour has been doing an outstanding job reviewing the Amazing Spider-Man title. He always gets the reviews out on time, has an opinion and gets people talking. Three key things I look for in a reviewer. Our good friend Michael Bailey who has reviewed the title in the past has agreed to come back on the title and offer his opinion on the book.
Having multiple reviewers on one book isn’t something I want to do on every title, just the flagship. It’s a common thing in newspapers and magazines to have multiple reviews of the same movie or book. So I look forward to having two voices on the main Spider-Book.

That = a AMAZING call. Good going Brad!!!! Baily = win.
i am so glad you are doing this. i have always thought, that it would be great to have two different opinions on the main reviews. good job.
That sounds like a good idea. Im just glad its not on every title (aka the ones I review). I dont need someone making me look bad 🙂
“Shana, you ignorant slut!…”
Cool idea. Look forward to reading both reviews.
Here’s a thought; though it’s completly up to BD and Gerard; what if the ASM review had a new second reviewer every story arc? We’d hear different opinions on the title every story. I mean one arc we could have Bailey and Gerard agreeing on what they think but then in the next story arc you could have Gerard and myself disagree with one another while backing up why we think “this issue sucked/ was awesome”. Plus that way like WebbedSentry said, we don’t have to see Bailey repeat himself on the podcast… even though your cool and almighty Bailey and I have no problem with you… don’t hurt me please. 🙁
Just an idea I thought I’d throw out there.
But wont we be listening to Bailey on repeat then when he gives his reviews on the podcast? Not that more Bailey aint a bad thing
Huh. That should be interesting. I’m looking forward to reading the differing opinions on the book, as well as the differing reactions in the comments section.
