Kryptonite doesn’t give Superman powers, Avi. I guess you could make the point that it makes him a hero as he will do the right thing in spite of Kryptonite, but I wouldn’t say the K is similiar to a spider bite or mutation.
I like Andrew’s Spidey ring.
