November 2011: “Batgirl” issue 3 comes out. Dick Grayson tries to help Barbara Gordon with a case. She throws a fit and rips out a piece of her hair. She gives it to him instructing him to leave her alone.
Late November 2011: Fandom collectively goes “WTF” at this moment.
December 2011: Former Crawlspace host Stella has me on her “Batgirl to Oracle” anniversary show where we review said issue. I made numerous references to the odd hair moment. Stella grew annoyed and told me to expect a package in the mail.
February 2012: The package arrives….
