I take a look at the classic Spider-Man villain, Electro. Seeing who this character is and a few of the changes that went into him in the last few years and my feelings for the upcoming movie.

There should be some -sort- of explanation why the lightning didn’t turn Max Dillon into a fried crispy, even if it was magical lightning.
I didn’t want to go back to the Chapter 1 talk.
…I thought Electro was Red Skulls’s son…

No mention of his Chapter One costume redesign? That new costume was used a few times in the regular books until they just did away with it.
Also, they retconned Electro’s origin some years ago – Magneto visited him and told him he was a mutant (or latent mutant) which explains why he survived being struck by lightning. I guess no one liked that since it’s never been mentioned since.
