The pause in his voice when he finds out is interesting. I mean, frankly it’s his right. Obviously when he created those characters he had a certain way he felt they should be (so the fan arguments of, it was there all along don’t hold much water). But you gotta give it to Stan, he did let it roll off his back pretty well and he’s still the ultimate sellsmen for Marvel. Now that’s how a pro handles a question.
