Most likely someone new unfortunately… *sigh* It’s been over 10 years since Brock was Venom, and another 15 since there was a halfway decent Spidey VS Classic Venom throw down. IIRC, Slott wanted Brock back in the suit back in New Ways to Die, but editorial overruled due to Thunderbolts at the time. So we got Anti-Venom instead, which was itself a dark reflection of Venom: All the power and none of the fun.
We need Bertone to interview Slott to get him to accidentally reveal who the new Venom is again.
So what’s the popular opinion? Is the person beneath the symbiote going to be an existing character, or someone brand new?
