Panel(s) of the Day #1

Welcome one and all to an exciting new Crawlspace feature: Panel of the Day (because SOMEONE demanded it! Maybe?)! Here we will take a gander at panels (sometimes multiple, sometimes splash pages… whatever I can unearth that looks cool [or not], really) from all corners of our favorite webbed wonder’s (Spider-Man) nearly 60 year (!) history! The wondrous, the whacky, the obscure, the out-of-context, the dour, the triumphant, the romantic, the Amazing, Spectacular, Sensational, etcetera! It’s all here for your viewing pleasure!

I think I’ve used up my exclamation point quota for this post (’60s Stan Lee would be proud?). The staff might be thinking of taking away my parenthesis privileges as well. Thanks for bearing with me.

We begin with the one that started it all, naturally:

Words that no doubt changed our young lives forever!

  1. Brad: No problem, I’m happy to be here. In the future I may only do 4-5 times a week if that’s alright.

I hope everyone enjoys this! I’ve got some good posts cooking up soon.

  2. And somehow, people like Tom Brevoort think that this means Spider-Man is all about “youth”. I think the meaning behind these panels really speaks for itself.

  3. The panel that so many Spidey fans forget when they say that Uncle Ben actually said the “With great power” quote in AF#15
