Nick Lowe Wanted Issue #25 To Be Renamed The Amazing Mary Jane

Taken directly from the Free Spider-Man: Start Here Sampler, John Beard interviews Nick Lowe, Ryan Ottley and Humberto Ramos on the future of Amazing Spider-Man, Mary Jane’s involvement in the book and Nick Lowe’s attempt to rename Amazing Spider-Man #25 to The Amazing Mary Jane and as a huge Mary Jane, it awesome to see her name as the main title of the book. I still hold hope that one day she gets her own book.

And courtesy of our very own Chi-Town Spidey,
here’s what The Amazing Mary Jane cover could have looked like.

  1. Ramos’ art was the strongest in #818 and the weakest in #823. They’re like day and night. I’d rather have rotating artists.
