  1. And boy it’s awful. Really not worth the wait for this issue; I hadn’t even realised I missed part 3 until I got part way through and had to go back to figure out what the hell was going on; even then the story is an incoherent mess. Wrap it up quick and forget about it.

  2. I think even without the pandemic the Abrams-Man mini-series would have been delayed between issues – maybe not this long, but long enough. Marvel has a terrible track record of publishing the first issue of a mini-series before the entire mini is finished.

  3. Why was there such a delay? COVID, I guess. How hard can it be to write a 22 page magazine that’s made up mostly of pictures? (But I say that as a published writer, so maybe that’s mean). I think it landed with a wet thud.

  4. @Andrew C: I was wondering that myself, since I hadn’t seen a review for it here. I had assumed it just hadn’t come out yet and completely forgot about it until this solicit. As I read, my mind went “‘…only his son Ben…’ Wait, what is….OH.”

  5. Oh issue#4 of the celebrity nepotism mini is coming out after it started over a year ago. Yawn. Is anyone actually reading that JJ & Son garbage?
