In the original Clone Saga the Jackal was just a guy wearing a full bodysuit. Which makes it funny that he wore trunks (a loincloth?) over that bodysuit. Because otherwise he’d be naked???
This would be like Spidey wearing shorts on the outside of his Spidey suit.
