Joking aside, from this preview and the wording he seems more like an empath. Probably, given the “psychoreactive” nature of the goo, he just gets glimpses and sensations, not full memories (and only recent ones too).
I have to say, despite generally not liking his writing, I have to give credit to Duggan for the method of blocking Cyclops’s powers with puppies: it’s genius.
So at least in the Venom issue we finally find out what powers the goo gave Ben.
Although it does raise the question- is he a full telepath? If he is then why does he need the fruit to absorb Peter’s memories?
