Read’s Reads Amazing Spider-man #41/935 Review

Amazing Spider-man #41

To kick off the new year, I review Amazing Spider-Man #41/935, as Wilson Fisk and Typhoid Mary return for the Gang War. While I loved the artwork and fight scenes. There really isn’t much here, feeling like a filler issue and blink and you miss Spider-Man, which is also poorly characterize in this issue, but what else is new?

  1. I saw it more as in their fight was over because Masque had both the Rose and the Syndicate, but I see what you mean from the reaction.

  2. I got a different impression of that phone call at the end of the issue. I thought the person calling him wasn’t Janice but was Kingpin’s troops, who we see showing up at the Rose’s headquarters and shooting at both Janice and the Rose. The look of shock on Tombstone’s face in the final panel seems to indicate that Kingpin’s “It’s over.” means “My men just killed your daughter.”
