@Adam — Thank you for that! I was unable to post the picture directly, but here’s a link to a Facebook page dedicated to Dave Hunt that shows a photo of him inking a story called “The Tarantula is a Very Deadly Beast” from Amazing Spider-man #147 in 1975, which is about the time the above panel was drawn. I guess he drew himself into it.

@Evan: It’s probably “Backgrounds by Hunt.” Dave Hunt inked the backgrounds during this time and would put in little Easter eggs like that.
