Maybe you guys are right. I give powerless Peter Adrian Toomes, though, easy. And Silvermane’s head.
To be fair, the sickness Peter has here appears to have pretty much completely wiped out whatever strength he has, superhuman or otherwise.
@Mark — Even conceding your point, I would think that even the punch of a ninety-eight-pound weakling could take out Doctor Octopus. Look at George McFly.
I’m close to ninety-eight pounds myself, so it’s the only hope I have.
Good point, Adam. I respectfully withdraw my argument. 🙂
I dunno, I think this guy looks like he could get a decent punch in: https://www.spidermancrawlspace.com/2021/02/panels-of-the-day-1042-ditko/
Yeah, but without powers, Peter has hardly a “normal” punch. He’s a 98 pound weakling who is getting sand kicked in his face at the beach.
I would think that a normal, non-superhuman punch in the face would be enough to knock out Dr. Octopus.
I one this issue! I have a creative writing assignment that shows the cover and get have to come up with a way that Spider-Man can be image like that in getting of the girl be one, a newspaper publisher, and a policeman, not to mention Doc Ock, and keep his secret identity.
