Neither have I. I know Deep Blue, the chess computer, and Deep Blue Something, who sing Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and Deep Blue Sea, the shark movie, but that’s about it.
I’ve just never heard “the deep blue hello” – or any part of it – as a phrase before.
@Hornacek — I think Hudson Blue is a shade of blue named after the Hudson River, which presumably appears that way, hence the description of its being green and black deeper down, so I guess it’s an odd play on that.
