Newsarama is posting a three part series remembering one of the best comics of the 1990s. Writer Peter David discusses his long run on Spider-Man 2099. If you’re a fan like I am, it’s a good read. David talks about how he got the job, the design of the costume, and the origin of the work “Shock.” It long predates “frack!”

Further proof Peter Parker simply has no relevancy anymore when you can easily fit somebody else into the concept and the consequences of being Spider-Man.
Only started reading Spider-Man 2099 a few months ago starting with issue 1. This was a fun interview.
