  1. Does anyone know who that guy who writes the Superior, Hulk and X-Men specials is? I´ve never heard of him before..

  2. Comics covers look cool at least. Worried a bit about the Black Cat one. Mainly just cuz she’s one of my favorite characters and I get worried when it seems like she’s gonna get written like a trampy airhead. But Slott didn’t have the new Spock hooking up with MJ so that kind of puts some of my worries at ease.

And to Big Al. I actually would accept it if Felicia figured out something was up because his acting has deteriorated big time when he got rid of Parker’s memories. The way I see it, he had peters looks, abilities, mind, and memories, and he STILL couldn’t pass as Peter with MJ. At the moment though, he’s acting very much like the villain he truly is and if he still had any contact with MJ he’d be found out in a heartbeat.

  3. I really hated the whole “Black Cat was ALWAYS cared for the Spider than the man” since that is not the case. If Felicia can tell whats up faster than Mary Jane or worse, sleeps with Otto, I will be seriously displeased

  4. Poor “Life In The Mad Dog Ward”. It had the misfortune to come out right after Fearful Symmetry (aka Kraven’s Last Hunt). It wasn’t a classic like FS but I felt like it got ignored as being an event since the readers were still reeling over FS. “Oh my God, it’s a 3-part story spanning all 3 Spidey books! Oh yeah, they just did that the last 2 months with Kraven and it was a better story. But Spidey is locked up in an insane asylum! But he was buried in a coffin in the Kraven story. Yawn.” They should have waited a few months before releasing it.

  5. MARVEL KNIGHTS: SPIDER-MAN #1 (of 5)
    MATT KINDT (W) • MARCO RUDY (A/C)
    VARIANT COVER BY TBA
    • From the haunted heights of a mysterious castle to the dizzying depths of the deep seas, the Amazing Spider-Man …

Wait, the *Amazing* Spider-Man? Are these new issues or a TPB? If it’s new is it a flashback series about Peter? This isn’t the Peter Parker Spider-Man mini talked about recently from the writer of First Blood – what is this?

It doesn’t sound like the Marvel Knights Spider-Man series from years ago because the first 12 issues were written by … Mark Millar? And it was one big 12-issue story about Aunt May getting kidnapped, nothing about a castle (unless I’m misremembering).

  6. “ALL NEW!! BIG TWISTS!! THIS WILL BE FELT IN THE SPIDER-MAN UNIVERSE FOR YEARS TO COME!! STATUS-QUO CHANGE!! IT ALL STARTS HERE!!”

That must be the 5th or 6th time I’ve read that this year. Safe to say we’re well past the “beating a dead horse” stage, right?

  7. Just the COSMIC ADVENTURES (Why they couldn’t have just called it Spider-Man:Acts Of Vengeance is beyond me) and the MAD DOG trades as I’m missing issues of each & have never read the Spider-Man #29-31 included in the MAD DOG collection (Can anyone tell me if it’s even related to Nocenti’s offbeat tale?).

  8. The more and more I see Spock, the more I just want to face palm.

All I can say is thank god for Scarlet Spider.
Infact why the hell couldn;t they have just made Kaine the new Spider-Man?!!! I would have GLADLY accepted that over this Otto trash
