ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN BY BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS VOL. 5 TPB
Written by BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS
Penciled by DAVID MARQUEZ
Cover by DAVID MARQUEZ
Spider-Man no more? In addition to the proportionate strength of a spider, Miles Morales can climb walls, turn invisible and fire venom blasts. He’s even got a new set of web-shooters used by Peter Parker himself. But none of it prevented his mother’s death, or spared his father from a life-changing injury in a brutal fight against Venom. Miles is convinced he caused the tragedy — so in an emotion-filled decision, he has put away the costume, swearing never to fight as Spider-Man again. But two new super-powered teenagers, Cloak and Dagger, have emerged. And when the Taskmaster breaks up their fight with the juvenile delinquent Bombshell, innocent lives are at stake! It’s a job for someone with great power and great responsibility, but Miles Morales is Spider-Man no more! Collecting ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN (2011) #23-28.
136 PGS./Rated T+ …$17.99

  1. It would be great if the Scorpion clone returned as a version of Spider-Man.

  2. I’m not positive where you are getting your information, but good topic. I must spend a while finding out more or figuring out more. Thank you for wonderful info I used to be looking for this information for my mission.

  3. @4 – That’s what I’m hoping. I think Fury probably trained the Scorpion clone to be Spidey incase Peter ever died.

  4. I’m thinking Miles is fighting the Scorpion-Peter clone that’s been MIA for long while. The tail was probably surgically removed and if “Peter” ever takes off his shirt we’ll see a load of scars along his spine.

I’ll echo the gorgeousness of that 2099 cover.

  5. Giannis Milonogiannis is a good artist that I think people will like a lot more than Amilcar Pinna. His style definitely fits the vibe that Michel Fiffe is going for with All-New Ultimates. I hope he’s going to be on the book for a while.

  6. I hope that Superior Foes isn’t ending, and I also really hope that isn’t the real Peter Parker on the cover of MM: USM #4. That 2099 cover is gorgeous. Not best pleased that a classic super villain is being featured in Learning To Crawl because that screws up continuity.

  7. “Spencer and Lieber bring this rollicking tail of evil to it’s penultimate hour!” Penultimate? That means the one before the last one! Nooooo!!!!!

    Wait, “tail of evil”???
