If money were no object, I’d pick this up in a heartbeat. According to this ebay auction back in the early 90’s artist Jack Kirby re-created his famous Amazing Fantasy # 15 cover. It sold on Sotheby’s Auction years ago and is now for sale for $75,000. Would you pay this much? Comment below.

yup.
“I’d be willing to split with $50 for this. No offense to the King, but it’s still just ink on a piece of paper.” Ouch! That’s like saying that the Mona Lisa is just some paint on a canvas. The price of this item is inflated, but it’s no different than buying an art piece from any of the other great masters like Picasso or Van Gogh that people pay thousands and even millions for. Kirby is easily a 20th century art master.
I’d be willing to split with $50 for this. No offense to the King, but it’s still just ink on a piece of paper.
Truth is, if I had that kind of disposible cash, I’d probably put it towards a NM copy of Amazing Fantasy 15 instead.
If i had the money, definatly
Yeah, if money was not an issue, if I were a multi-millionaire, sure, I’d get it.
If I had an unlimited amount of money sure, but since I don’t, never.
Not even if I had the money but it is a very cool recreation!
That’s a pretty awesome thing to own, I know it’s not the original, but it’s worth $75 G’s if you ask me.
I wonder if the wife would mind if I used our savings to put a down payment on this instead of a house…
