Spidey’s only worn this suit one, it was back in Peter Parker: Spider-Man # 90. However, it’s one of the suits available in the new Shattered Dimensions Game.

^ And who says that costume still can’t be in? There’s more than 3 costumes for each dimension.
Wouldn’t the Dusk costume have made a lot more sense?
It’s lame the costumes are dimension specific 🙁 I think it’d be way cool if you could use any suit anywhere, even being able to switch the actual Spider-Men around. 2099 in Noirverse, anyone? 😛 (but I can see why they didn’t, it’s because of the art styles. They’d have to remake all the character models if they were going to do that).
@ Javi, yeah you can only play with a certain costume in a certain dimension.
-Scarlet Spider for Amazing Universe
-Negative Zone Spidey for Noir Universe
-Iron Spider-Man (Stark Armor) for 2099 Universe
-Manga Spider-Man for Ultimate Universe
-Steel Armored Spider-Man for 2099 Universe
I’m not impressed with Negative Zone… I wish they had picked a better costume. Hell, I would have thought it would be funny to see Bag-Man jumping from the shadows and taking out the crooks.
I don’t like the way the colors are so dark. I wish the white really showed, most of the time in the trailer the suit looked all grayish.
so are these alternate suits world exclusive? You can’t be negative zone in the amazing or 2099 universes?
I don’t see how Spider-Hulk, or Spider-Girl would have been a good fit for an alternate suit in Noir.
Well, that was…unimpressive. Of all Spidey’s alternate costumes, they went with this? They could’ve used Spider-Girl, Spider-Hulk, Bag-Man, or something…Heck, just about ANYTHING would be better than that!
(Sigh)
Matt,
I think you’re thinking of Dusk. It was also a black suit.

If I recall I think this was one of FIVE suits Peter worn during “The SPIDER- HUNT” storyline, the first to feature Norman Osborn big plan to reveal to the world who Peter was. Before the GOD AWFUL “THE GATHERING OF FIVE” which then started vol. II of The AMAZING SPIDER-MAN comic title in late 1998. I Loved “SPIDER-HUNT” storyline so much even if Marvel brought the original Green Goblin back to be a thorn in the wall crawler life.
This was also an alt. costume in Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro.
Eh, I dunno. Doesn’t look like this’ll have any specific new features to it. It’s basically just a color swap, not a new character or design like Scarlet Spidey.
