  1. @ #18 If you have to go through that kind
of drivel, you might end up being committed.

  2. @16 – Oh God, I hope not. I don’t want this kind of replacement dialogue:

MJ: Somehow, I thought being IN A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP would be a little different. Sitting by the fire, drinking white wine, snuggling up … but, of course that requires someone to snuggle up with. And my someone … my COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP PARTNER … isn’t here.

Spider-Man: And while I was rotting down there … what was my family thinking? Aunt May … Mary Jane. Mary Jane … my COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP PARTNER.

Spider-Man: Two weeks. Mary Jane. Two weeks of my life … our life … our new life together as MEMBERS OF A COMMITTED RELATIONSHIP.

Spider-Man: I love you, Mary Jane. More than I ever realized. BUT NOT ENOUGH FOR US TO GET MARRIED.

  3. I might just pick up the Last Hunt novel. I wonder if it’s been OMDd just like the Civil War prose novel?

  4. Still waiting for ASM #3, Slott. It’s great that you’re telling us about your upcoming issues, but maybe you should prioritize putting what you already have ready to launch, instead of pushing it back two weeks.

  5. Hmm, Amazing Spider-Man #6 looks interesting. Ramos will probably ruin the art, but Dan Slott’s writing in enough to make up for it.

Both Amazing Spidey #1.5, Spider-Man 2099 #3 looks great as well, but what the heck is “Superior Spider-Man” doing here? Spider-Ock’s story was over in #30, so how the hell did he come back? Weird…

Miles Morales: Ultimate sucky Spider-Man dosen’t interest me, because it’s obvious they the Ultimate ‘Peter Parker’ is a clone. As for All New X-Men #32, I’d buy if Miles wouldn’t appear in the issue.

They’re releasing Kraven’s Last Hunt in novel form? I prefer the comics version more, but I’m sure novel fans will love it.

  6. @11 they said that Morlun wouldn’t be the only villain involved. That there was another way he was leaping across the multiverse.

  7. @7 – Adam is right. I just checked an old issue and the letters column was called “Sup’ Spider-Man”.
But considering it’s usage on the solicit it most likely is an attempt by the marketing team to give the character a ‘cool’ nickname. Certainly the kind of thing Marvel would think was cool and clever.

  8. @5 – ‘Sup Spidey sounds like something the Marketing department at Marvel would come up with when Superior #1 was printed and they told Marvel “This nickname will spread like wildfire! Everyone will be using it! It’s hip and cool and trendy!”

@6 – No way. You’re making that up. Oh man, if that’s true it makes me look cool by comparison.

  9. @1: “Sup Spidey” was the title of the letters section for Superior Spider-Man, I think.

  10. @2 – I think it was a fan nickname? I saw some fans and reviewers use it during the Superior run. Otto was never called that by any of the characters in the actual series though.

  11. I’d like a Can ‘Sup Spidey with a salad on the side
    and don’t forget the croutons.

  12. “Can Sup’ Spidey find enough allies to make a dent in Karn?” – Was SpOck called “Sup’ Spidey” during the entire Superior run and I’m just hearing about this now? Or is this something they’re trying out now to see if it’ll catch on?

“Still not CANCELLED!” – Best news of all the solicits.
